What a pleasure it has been to have  the Cooke's, Barbara and Elton here in Trenholm during their stay here in the United States. Barbara and Elton are here from Africa where they are Missionaries with "Called to Serve" They have spoken at the church once and helped out during VBS where Barbara gave out a book that she has written Called  Lusajo, it is about a young boy in Africa and his life. They have been very busy during thier stay and they will be our quest speakers  again on Sunday the 24th for our 11:00 AM worship service before they leave to return to Africa.  There will be a luncheon served following the service in their honor. Everyone is invited and asked to bring a covered dish. It is an honor for us here at MCBC to have them stay here with us and to hear about all of the wonderful things they are doing in Africa. We pray that God will Bless them in all that they do.

A special Thanks to Shelly Nellis for her beautiful art work. Many thanks to all of the young people and adults who worked so diligently teaching God's Word .We had over 50 cowpokes and cowgirls in attendance and raised $410 dollars which is going to Missionaries Elton  and Barbara Cooke to help put a floor in a church in Africa.
